Good morning Wattpadders,

I messaged you all a few months ago to let you know that my Watty Award winning books will be leaving Wattpad at the end of March 2025. I will leave the first three chapters live but the rest will then be available for FREE on Kindle Unlimited as well as in eBook format from Amazon and paperback direct from me at https://kofi-com/neiljhart/shop (where you'll get loads of FREE book swag) or on Waterstones, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and at your local library.

I hope you have a super weekend finishing 'The Last Scarecrow' or 'Sadie Madison' if you're halfway through and thank you for the amazing support I've had on these books for the last four years. The Wattpad community has been amazing.

If you want to keep up to date with me and my writing and new books, then join my mailing list at https://neiljhart.com/sign-up/ and get exclusive FREE downloads!

          	Have an awesome day!

@Romizabooks Same level as now. I haven't posted much on here since 2022 as my books are off living in the 3D world!

@Romizabooks My books range from 65-100k words so it really depends on the genre and the requirements of the story!

For a debut young adults author, how many words should we target? I have officially reached 50K.

On a side note, I just found out my novella version made it to round 3 of Ambys (the first 3 chapters were read for round 2 judging).

Hope your book fair tours are going well.
I was thinking about your novel Harper Hale. I really hope it reaches a big audience.

There’s been news this week of a British author (also Oxford professor), Katherine Rundell, going big. Her first book in the ‘Impossible Creatures’ series was published in 2023 and second book came out this year. She writes for middle grade audience and has been compared to author J.R.R. Tolkien.

Your novel Harper Hale has the potential to go big once people read it more. I hope you continue writing the rest of the books in the series. Sci-Fi is a hard genre to write, yet you have written a gem.
