Not kidding, history would be my next degree, followed by chemistry. I love military history, because so much was decided by wins and losses. I geek out on WWII South Pacific Japan vs US.
In case you didn’t know. Many colleges and Universities will allow you to audit classes, or attend for free once you hit a certain age. So there could be several degrees in your future. I did my Doctorate work all online. Lots of degrees available online.

My preps for 16 yrs was—US Government, 32 semesters of teaching it. American History, one year of it. Economics—bc two different high school’s Administration didn’t know that working in real estate and wholesale mortgage is a Business dept(Financial) class and confused it with ‘the economy’. ‍♀️.

My two Favorites—World History, I taught for 13 years.
And the class I created from scratch bc we needed electives in the Social Studies dept , and the Sociology class did an all school survey and my class title was the one that had the most votes, Women In History.

I created it to ANNOY two male teachers in my dept. that did not like that I have a hyphenated last name, I as told ‘pick one’ and it’s ’not professional that I allow students to use my initials instead of Mrs(which I’ve never gone by personally, always Ms) xxxx.’ My students always called me JC or Ms JC. Those two guys HATED THAT!

My Women In History class lasted 7 years until I had to leave for disability for tremors, fibromyalgia and migraines.

I had the entire football team take that class as an elective two. Many years I had 2-3 preps of it (that means enough students for 2-3 classes each semester). All for a class that was created as a joke.
