                It’s been a great year with yall despite the good and bad. I’m grateful to have met many new readers and writers and forming beautiful friendships out of them. Friendships I hope will last forever. I’ve enjoyed every interaction with yall, whether big or small, positive or negative—-each experience makes up for something. For those who’ve been hesitant, I hope to make your acquaintance in 2026.  
          
                There have been some setbacks with my 2025 Wattpad goals (posted in my IYCDE blog book here). While disappointed, I’m also okay with it. Shit happens. It’s not the end of the world. It’s never too late or early to start over. And I think that’s what I needed most from this year was to start over in order to start completing my goals with a new outlook. Definitely have been kinder to myself toward the end of the year, and have been reading a lot more. I’d like to read more here than outside of the app too.
          
                Overall, I’m grateful for the support I’ve received. The ideas I have. The will to stay motivated and keep going when I wanted to give up many times. And honestly, despite all the bullshit, I’m very excited to see what 2026 brings me.

⎯⎯ if you’re reading my books for smut, then you’re reading my books for the wrong reasons. I prioritize chemistry, tension, and intimacy before I think about smut. Whether it’s a fast, medium, or slow burn. Even if it happens early on.
          
          I have nothing against the asks, and I have books in the future that’s has plenty….but I’m writing Romance, NOT Erotica. Those aren’t interchangeable. Sex is normal and it happens when it does, and when I think it feels right for both characters. Shit my characters be horny asf. But some of yall be acting like yall finna die if I don’t write smut immediately and constantly. Like damn, shit can’t shimmer first?
