⎯⎯ I’ve been asked how I’m able to work on 3+ books at the same time. Babes…I have poorly managed ADHD and I can’t focused on 1 book at a time cause I get easily bored.

I try to rotate updates if I can, but I don’t force it. If I’m in the mood to write a certain book then I write on it then until I need a pallet cleanser and I work on another. I do have priority books that I work on more than others while the others are pallet cleansers. And engagement does influence me to get it out faster, but still, I’ma mood writer. I don’t force it or it’ll feel like a chore and not something I genuinely enjoy writing. I TRY to write/group my books within the same genre (to write together) with 1 being different so im still in the headspace of the environment, and I’m keeping it fresh and fun.

Does it bite me back in the ass? Yes. I get mad headaches, prolonged updates, etc. Have I ever mixed up my worlds? No. Funny enough, when I’m working on a WIP, it’s like my brain tunes out all the others and everything about this book comes to me without a problem. If it’s been a while, I do a read through so I’m back in the headspace and don’t lose the narrative. Do I regret it? No. I LOVE writing. I love creating new stories and exploring them and exploring/expanding my skills even at the expense of my health at times. I’m doing better at it, but it’s one of my biggest passions. I’d do it over again.

But there’s no cheat code. I’m suffering for the love of passion.

⎯⎯ Wtp just gonna have to delete my shit. I’m not adjusting my writing style to align with these new rules that was the backbone of their app mind you. But yeah, I really don’t give a fuck cause all my fics are cross-posted on ao3 and backed up. I don’t physically write on here so I’m not stressing one bit.

If it’s gone here, you’ll find on ao3. If it’s off ao3, I have it backed up. Original books, I can put on ao3 too if it comes to that. But I’m gucci

⎯⎯ nothing has been abandoned and never will be! As said before, I’ve been unexpectedly busy with projects and etc outside of here. I’ve only told a few close moots, but I work in the entertainment industry and as you’ve seen, it’s been a busy season. I’m also a published author (under an alias, but working on a few books to publish under a more public image), so I’ve been very busy. I AM working on updates. Always am with lots of exciting shit to come, but the other stuff comes first. I really appreciate your patience. I’ve seen your messages and gotten your DMs and emails, so I understand your concern and excitement, just hang in there for me <33333
