⎯⎯  lowkey becoming an update in batches type author then every other week like I used to. Ima busy person with an even busier schedule irl, so unfortunately, posting in 2–5 chapter batches monthly or whenever it’s finished works best for me now. It’ll likely mean longer waits, but it gives me time so I’m not rushing to meet deadlines I can’t reach anymore. I might still update some weekly or every other week especially with pre-written chaps but it’s no longer the norm for me. If anyone isn’t happy about that then it’s cool. I’m 100% okay with losing readers bc of this and been have before this so it is what it is.

It’s so obvious they don’t explore Black stories or think any exist outside of those picks, or what they feel is ‘clean’ and ‘digestible’ enough for their white audiences. Our stories are diverse as hell, told in every genre, and deserves the light too. Switch it up. Cause now you getting lazy.

⎯⎯  wait yall why I’m lowkey feeling je ne sais quoi that these next SAY chapter updates that’s featuring Valentine’s Day is posting on the same week as Valentine’s Day, and it wasn’t even intentional. It just happened to align since this fic starts out in February. We living in the same days as them woah. And it didn’t even hit me until today. Is this a sign or some shit? Idkkk I’m feeling some outworldly energy ngl lmaoooo

⎯⎯  writers : when yall return to a book you haven’t touched in a while, do yall just read up the chapters written to get back in the headspace and continue where you left off at? Or do yall rewrite those chapters to get back in the headspace, ofc tweak little things and better it before finally reaching where you left off at ?
