Hi all,
I know I said I'd wait on Silent Witness until I'd finished House of Berisha, but I'm travelling okay with managing both and I'm going to give it a go. I'm dropping two chapters on Silent Witness in the next few hours.
@Hsowhebdndkdjs last time I tried to write two books at once it was literally a train wreck and i had to stop, so I'm not getting too ahead of myself.
@Neon987 ahahah me too, the inspiration is at the lowest when I am toward the end. I just admit I only wrote two books and they were not written at the same time, so I don’t know how it must feel to write two stories in parallel, but I must admit I admire you for it because it’s surely not easy.
@Hsowhebdndkdjs @flyleaf_fable I go through periods where I'm really prolific and ideas come in really thick and fast, but then always towards the end of the story that momentum really slows down and I really struggle to tie it all together. So far it's moving. If it gets too much, I'll hold back with Perfect Witness.
Just read Perfect Witness. I love the short chapters. Love the blind protagonist idea. I fcuking hate August but knowing how you write you'll have me living for the updates And Kat and Izzy need their own book. I'm in.

Awww. Thanks for the feedback. I’m hoping to wrap up House of Berisha before Christmas so you need to give me a few months. I’ve tried working on two books simultaneously before… it was a train wreck.
So... I started writing Perfect Witness on the break I took last year, and then it kind of lost momentum, and didn't go anywhere.
It's been sitting in my drafts for a while now, and I finally decided to just put it out there and see if anyone's interested, rather than let it collect dust forever.
Fair warning: this is unfinished, and I genuinely don't know if or when I'll pick it back up. So please don't come for me if it stays that way - I'm just sharing what I have because I think it's worth putting out there and letting the audience decide.
It was a challenge writing Roisin's perspective. I've never written from the POV of a blind character before, and I wanted to do it justice, so it took a lot of research to try to get her experience right - not sure how successful I was.
Whether you end up loving this, hating it, or just feel kind of neutral about it, I'd love to hear your thoughts either way. And if there's enough interest, maybe that'll be the push I need to finish it. I'll let you be the judge.
@Hanabeare it was an project before House of Berisha was even an idea, but I ran out of steam and forgot about it. It’s very early stages and would need a rewrite if I did go ahead with it.
@flashme36 I was wondering where you were. All good. This one's still in draft format so depending on whether people think there’s a story here, I’ll come back to edit it after House of Berisha.

I'm going to push ahead of schedule with The House of Berisha. I can see the finish line and only have 2 assignments left before I graduate. Yay for me. I'll publish the first 8-10 chapters this week and then follow with a weekly publishing schedule. I really hope you guys like it. I've been away for a while so it's making me super nervous about how readers will respond to the story.
