Sooā update on myself⦠āØdepression⨠isnāt fixed with medication. It helps but doesnāt do much when youāre in a constant state of panic. I have been told that I shouldnāt be politicalā however, I think itās very fāucking important that I am. What is happening in the United States has put my mental health in a tailspinā I canāt sleep right, my anxiety is up to high heaven⦠they say ignorance is bliss and I really fā-ucking wish I were. I understand that people have their opinions but when peopleās lives are at stakeā and I stay silent. I become compliant in this screwed up world weāre in. Comply or die, and Iād rather die on that hill than sit by silently.
If you donāt like what I have to say, you can go andā you can put two and two together.
Iām sorry I havenāt updated, my mental health since November 2024 has been in shambles. The medication does its job⦠but it canāt completely stop the thoughts. Itās hard to write when your brain is constantly bombarded with fear for those I love and care for.
Empathy is greatā but sometimes it sucks too.

@NeonSkies95 I'm with you, and understand you since the first time orange was president I stopped watching TV, got out of social media, my anxiety got so bad that even looking at the man's face send me to state of panic, now it's worse. We're dealing with a dumb force that somehow have some masses believe that everything he does is good, sadly the people who can stopped him are his allies, shameful I know, but people are waking up, fighting back, and I'm proud. Let's keep protesting, resisting, let our voices be heard in any way we can, let keep taking the streets. We Puerto Ricans have a big representation protesting the injustice now, using music, and saying 'Fuck you!' publicly not letting those people backing him to a corner, maybe you'll know who I'm talking about, it's not much but it's something. I will just keep taking the streets when I'm call.

@NeonSkies95 Silence doesnāt always mean compliance. As a descendant of slaves and Native Americans I come from people who survived unspeakable horrors. Silence fueled the Underground Railroad. Silence helped others to pass for white. Silence can be powerful, strategic and freeing. I exist because someone chose to survive. Donāt think of dying on that hill. Resist! Write your stories! We read them and acknowledge your gift. If our ancestors could survive the Middle Passage, slavery and genocide we can surely survive these trying times. Survive! You Brianna are a 21st century griot. Use your silence to tell your stories. Use your stories to voice your opinions. Use your stories to entertain and comfort us. Your post today speaks volumes dear author. You are far from silent. Resistā¦Surviveā¦Write!
