The very first time I read a book without pictures, I was five, it was Matilda by Roald Dahl,  Technically it had pictures but it wasn't a Picture book. Anyway I read it by myself and I knew from the last page that books,  any literature really,  has the power to save people. Books saved me and I'm grateful to each and every writer that has written work, that I had the pleasure to read! Anyway I'm Vanessa, call me anything but Nessi!   I love reading anything and everything, I'm obsessed with all things Sherlock, Doctor Who and  Potter. Aswell as professional fangirling about well everything! I also write poetry and songs, a musician at heart who has a soft spot for detectives who wanted to be pirates.
