@Nevcarrowrhy Thanks! I had been writing since I was little, but I never really thought that I was really that talented. I struggled a lot with writer's block over the years before I came to Wattpad, and believe me, it's not fun at all to struggle with a story you want to write, but you yourself are not sure if others would want to read it or not, thus inducing my writer's block so many times before I came to Wattpad. But I'm thanking Wattpad for getting my story out there to others who are interested in mermaids, and if you had told me, three years ago, that my supernatural merman story would make it big on Wattpad one day, I would have thought you were crazy, with the way the story was three years ago after I had first written it.
But I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and I hope you will enjoy the first sequel of the story itself, which is called The Siren's Human Treasure (The Siren's Human Mate, Book 2). I hoped to center the entire story around themes of courage's true meaning, and the first book centers around the theme of speaking up against bullying (which does take a lot of courage in itself, but makes the world a better place as well). The second book centers around the theme of standing up for what you believe in, which also takes a lot of courage as well. The third book will center around the theme of facing the shadows of your past, and the fourth and final book will focus on the theme of standing up to your enemies. What do you think of these themes for the Siren's Human Mate series as an entirety? Do you think these themes would fit well in a contemporary supernatural setting or not?
