Random, yes, but, anyone else vow to never like/hate something and then you find yourself starting to like it and begin to have like an inner conflict with yourself?

Vven10

@NeverEndingNighto Yeah. Around late 2018 I heard about the Uma Musume anime. I thought it was weird and said I wouldn't watch it. Now... I've put more hours into the game than I care to admit

@NeverEndingNighto For long I had a strong hate for Marvel comics, thinking of them as just rip-off of DC Comics but now I love both lol

@NeverEndingNighto Kinda, yeah, I've been having that existential crisis with spicy food for...a month? Maybe more.

What's a fandom that you absolutely despise? Feel free to list as many as you want. I'll start. The JJK and MHA fandoms.

mysti777

@NeverEndingNighto Pokemon fans. Specifically, the mainstream side with nothing but the same sex jokes is ironically worse than the competitive players.

I have to ask this, has anyone else ever thought about leaving Wattpad? Thinking it's time to move on from this site?

I ask this because, I sometimes reflect and think it might be time to move on. That being said, I'm not leaving. At least not yet. I'm just saying, when I first joined Wattpad, I was like 16. Now, I'm 22 with a full time job and things I wanna do in life. I still love to write and would want to pursue writing. I just sometimes think, perhaps it would be time to leave Wattpad behind as simply a part of my life that I cherish, but need to move on from. I dunno, just a random thought and I wanted to hear your opinions as well.

And if I ever do leave, I'll just take down my unfinished works and leave up my finished works for anyone who may want to read in the future. Anyway, thanks for reading. I appreciate all nearly 2k people who have decided to follow me on this site :D

CHARLOTTE_D1009

I kinda feel the same too but its just that I can't move on, because of I have seen alot of great writers and I have been very inspired by them and I really appreciate all the friends that I have made on this app..... Idk, I might quit this app one day because ngl wattpad just kinda feels boring now

@NeverEndingNighto everyday I've been putting off many stories I have cooking up but after awhile I lose interest but I write these stories as a way to get it out of my head let my imagination run loose I don't care about if anymore like my stories it's up to them to decide that on their own I write because it's my freedom my very first book the ryuko one I done that out of boredom (and every other story about her is always with deku never truly understood the fandom) but I read it as a reflection of what to do and not to do in story but yeah I think about it from time to time

@NeverEndingNighto I totally get that. Personally, when I joined Wattpad back in 2020, I was 23, finishing up my higher education and needed an outlet for my free time. But things have changed a lot since then. I'm 28, almost 29, and I work as a writer, so I already write a ton for work, which means I go through loooong stretches where I really have zero motivation to write on Wattpad. I've even considered just deleting my account at some point, since I don't have many followers, and the people who were reading my fanfic ended up dropping it because of my way too frequent and way too long hiatuses. And honestly, it didn't feel like a big deal since I'd already built the whole story in my head anyway, so why bother continuing, right?
But in the end... I got back into Wattpad. Not for my followers or my readers (who basically don't exist at this point lol) but for myself. It's become a personal challenge, finishing it despite the exhaustion, the job, life in general. And honestly, who cares about my hiatuses and my posting schedule. I'll just be the Togashi of Wattpad, but without the fame lmao
Anyway, that's just my take on it. I get what you're feeling, and if you do end up leaving, then best of luck to you and good luck with everything that comes next ^^

I'm curious. To anyone who cares to answer, what are your overall thoughts on Attack on Titan?

In my opinion, overall, it's a great series that just fumbled towards the end.

NeverEndingNighto

@AlanSoujikyuu also, hey. Been a while. Hope you have been good.

@NeverEndingNighto Best manga ever from the beginning to the very end, a masterpiece of foreshadowing and for me the end was the perfect realistic warning about war, hate and inhumanity our world needs in these days

Anyone else sit down to write, stare at your screen for a while, and then just shut your device off and walk away a little mad you couldn't think of anything?

NeverEndingNighto

@Neopolitan647 okay, I gotta tell you this, bro. It's not laziness. Laziness is derived from the disinterest in doing a task. You have interest in the task you wanna do. So, don't feel bad or believe you are being lazy, my friend.

@NeverEndingNighto it's not even that I can't think of anything half the time, it's that I'm too tired/lazy/unmotivated to actually get my ideas out on paper.
