I am here to announce a single thing. I am retiring from Wattpad. It has been on my mind for the longest of time ans I kept trying to deny ever doing it because I've grown so attached to this platform, but now, it's time that I do it.
I'm not the same kid I used to be writing these stories. I'm an adult who already is juggling enough stuff in his life. So, sorry, but I shall be leaving soon. I will be unpublishing all of my not finished works. All of my works that are completed shall stay. I apologize if that upsets you, and if you wish to "save" my unfinished works or continue them yourself, you have my blessing.
I do plan on publishing one last work to detail my history on Wattpad and once that is done, I shall be leaving. Thank you all for the years of support. It has been amazing. Bye for now.
I found my old laptop and tried using it to write a bit and it sounded like it was asking me to put it out of its misery.
@NeverEndingNighto I have a laptop just like that. But it has more RAM than my current laptop so I use it when I have to.
This is random, but when it comes to a book (on this site or an orange story) do you care how many chapters there are? And the length, of course. I ask this because it makes me think about plans I have for my books. Like, how many chapters is too many to you? I would just love to know when I can get back to writing again.
@NeverEndingNighto Not at all, honestly. The number of chapters doesn’t bother me when I decide to get into a story, it’s really more about whether the story grabs me. As for chapter length, that’s the only thing I notice a bit more. If a chapter goes over 3,000 words, I’ll usually end up reading it in a few sittings rather than all at once, but that does not put me off at all.
@NeverEndingNighto It hinges mostly on the content and quality of the book. There's a difference between needing X amount of chapters at Y amount of length because it's needed to tell the story, and bloating up or holding back the word/chapter count out of necessity. I do personally prefer higher amounts of chapters overall (especially when binge reading), but I'm not that picky. I'd rather the duration conforms to the story you want to tell, rather than the story conforming to the duration you want to match.
Random, yes, but, anyone else vow to never like/hate something and then you find yourself starting to like it and begin to have like an inner conflict with yourself?
@NeverEndingNighto Yeah. Around late 2018 I heard about the Uma Musume anime. I thought it was weird and said I wouldn't watch it. Now... I've put more hours into the game than I care to admit
@NeverEndingNighto For long I had a strong hate for Marvel comics, thinking of them as just rip-off of DC Comics but now I love both lol
@NeverEndingNighto Kinda, yeah, I've been having that existential crisis with spicy food for...a month? Maybe more.

@NeverEndingNighto Pokemon fans. Specifically, the mainstream side with nothing but the same sex jokes is ironically worse than the competitive players.
