Hey everyone! I wanted to ask y'all something and I'm totally down for honest answers. //THIS IS A TWO PARTER> BEFORE YOU RESPOND PLEASE READ BOTH PARTS//
There is this.... problem user of wattpad. I'm not tagging them simply because I don't want them posting their LGBTQ cult like thing on here. Before you block me or post something irrational, let me explain myself.
I'm bisexual, as a few of you know. And I have never EVER come across anyone that makes my community sound like a religion most people would hate. UNTIL TODAY one of my super close friends that is on here told me about an rper that she RolePlayed with long ago, decided to post on their feed a fucking LIST of people that are "homophopic" or "Transphobic". One of them being my friend.
Now, my bestie over here had explained to them that she doesn't feel comfortable about rping gay relationships because she's not comfortable with it. She finds it personally challenging to roleplay those kinds of scenarios. BUT she does have a few gay friends that I've met personally that are super cool. MEANING: She's not homophobic, its just a preference of sexual orientation.
THIS PERSON had posted her on their 'list of people who are homophobic'. stating that she was, and I quote, "very vocally violent about it".
Another quote, "I hope you work through your own external homophobia guys."
First of all, my bestie aint even violent, so I know that's full of bs. Secondly, the two haven't been rping with each other FOR OVER A DAMN YEAR. Thirdly, I SAW THE MESSAGES, she was very polite about it. So why the hell post about her, just let her be.
I understand that most people that are part of this platform have a bad experience, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. I totally get that, and I'm sorry if that's happened to you. But when someone says that they don't feel comfortable about something, you need to respect that person's preference, REAGARLESS of sexual identity.
Continuing on, I confronted them, being pissed that my friend was being dragged into all this bullshit and going through an anxiety attack over this.
I even stated on my post to them that I was Bisexual and that they had no right dragging her into it.
And you know what they did?
They posted this,
"I hope you work through you own internal homophobia"
First off, I'm not homophobic, I literally dated a girl once, and actually liked it. Secondly, WTF.

Yes, I agree, being homophobic is not something you should be proud of. And again, I saw the messages, My bestie did NOT say she was homophobic, she just doesn't feel comfortable roleplaying gay relationships.
Just because someone doesn't want to do something gay, DOES NOT make them homophobic. ESPECIALLY if they got gay friends.
And one thing to add to that:
Always look into both sides of the story. Don't be like this persons followers and believing every little lie they spill.
