Hi again, Newton. I'm pleased to see that you're back for Rahab the Harlot.

It my travels I have been to Egypt and Israel, which included the ruins of ancient Jericho.

I have Rahab marrying the very man scripture says is her husband.

I have them first meeting at a younger age.

I have no proof that Rahab was a temple prostitute per se or that her husband Salmon was a soldier in the Egyptian Army.

However, I have tried to portray Egyptian, Canaanite, and Hebrew cultures as close to the Bible as I can.

Btw, my first and third stories listed are unfinished.

It good to know you're still here.

          Enjoy my story.

@TerryP . Great. Sure. I now get you.
            You are So Intelligent.

@NewtonOchariMenyenya From my reading, I concluded Salmon was Hebrew. My fiction story has Salmon being separated from his people because he saves a youthful Rahab.

So having him enlist in the Egyptian Army was something to do with him while Rahab matures.

I also believe that he must have been a soldier too, having been a chief's son as highlighted in the book of Joshua.

Hi, Newton. Thank you ever so much for reading and voting for Songs for Tamar.

If you're familiar with the life of King David in The Bible, you'll find that I am working well within scripture.

Here I provide Tamar someone to love her--something missing in the original story.

Only one place do I alter the original story somewhat--how Absalom got revenge on his half brother.

But Absalom is just as enigmatic as in the Bible and loves his sister Tamar dearly.

          Enjoy my story.

          Thanks again.

@NewtonOchariMenyenya If you surpass me, do it with my blessing. I often meet my betters here.

@TerryP . Thanks once more. You really do inspire me by you wide range of knowledge. You are always great. Always looking forward to be like you and even surpass you.

Haha. Sure, she had asked me many a times if I was a male.

@NewtonOchariMenyenya Thanks again. I see that you zipped through my story about a former prostitute becoming president.

Because of my experiences in Peace Corps ( Liberia ) and the fact they suffered a horrific civil war, I'm provided with background and an impending event that contribute to believable plots.

Thanks again for your praise. It makes my day.

I regret that my more recent stories have little revision and even earlier ones still have mistakes.

Yes, my default assumption here too often is that my readers are female-- just like sweetanna until she learned you're also a guy.

Often female profiles include male pics.

It's always interesting to see how males react to my stories.

Thank You soooo much. You have been so nice, and I really appreciate it❤❤❤

@Trish1205 I do the same when I find a good poem.

@Trish1205. Actually the rhyme scheme isn't bad at all. However, I find the monorhyme to be the best. It also makes the poem very enjoyable when reading. Often I find myself repeating reading and re-reading poems with such scheme time and again.
