I would like to announce that Volume 1 of Dragon's Burn is coming to a close real soon! Just a few chapters left. 
          
          Of course, I plan on going through the entire volume once or twice. Editing along the way, and maybe even adding some additional chapters if needed or if I feel it'll add to the experience. I'm not sure how long that will take, but my ultimate goal is to make the new version of the old story more cohesive.
          
          As it stands. Dragon's Burn (Volume 1) is... super different than the original! I'm really excited to showcase the story, and I really hope I'll be able to make the wait worthwhile! Just know it won't be released this year. More than likely, I will release it next winter or the spring/summer after that!

I have finished rewriting chapters 1 and 2 of "The Awakening," but I went a step further and rewrote 4-10! I think they're a lot better now. I hope everyone enjoys it! New chapter out tomorrow!

I went back and rewrote chapter 3 of "The Awakening!" I believe it's way better now than before! There are not too many changes; I just fixed some grammar mistakes, removed some scenes, and expanded some scenes to make the chapter flow better. I plan on tidying up a few of the current chapters, primarily 1 and 2, though there won't be any big changes for anyone to worry about. Please continue enjoying the story! I will keep trying my best!

You know. Even while uploading "The Awakening," I still somehow manage to rewrite the upcoming part a week in advance. So far, every part has been rewritten four times. It's wildly different from the original draft. I've been having a lot more fun with it! Everything is still on schedule; the next part is on Friday!

Hello, everyone. I just want to update you on the progress of "Dragon's Burn."
          
          Chapter 1 has been completed, and there's been a lot of changes. I wanted to explore the world, the people in it, and Eiro a little more. There's been a few additions and removals along the way, but I'm satisfied with how it looks! It might seem a little less action-based as I wanted to return back to the more comedic/slice of life route found in the early days of the original story. But! The action is now a lot more fun and dynamic! I hope people enjoy it! 
          
          Chapter 2 in the remastered is looking to be much longer than the original! I really wanted to focus more on the interactions between the characters and flesh them out a little more while spreading out the action. A lot of new species appear, so I really hope people find them interesting! Akari's and Ryuki's solo adventure has also been expanded a little more, and I had a lot of fun writing Ryuki!
          
          Progress is being made. Once I finish Chapter 3, I'll post the first volume! Honestly, at this rate, I think those three chapters may surpass the length of the original series... Anyway. Thank you for your patience!

After talking with some buddies, I eventually decided to upload the first five parts of "The Awakening" instead of just one. The schedule remains the same, but this way, people can test the story a bit more to see if they like it!

After years of work, I'm finally able to upload "The Awakening"! I'm honestly excited as I worked hard on the story and had a lot of fun during the process. It's so different compared to the original. So much so that I honestly believe it's twice as long and filled with a little more character growth and worldbuilding. Though I may have gone a bit over the top with the action scenes...
