This one is good. Really good.
          	“Pursuit of the Whole” by @QuinnCatcher

          	I’ve been quietly waiting for the next wonderfully captivating story to come along, and I have finally found it. It is the story of a spunky “drop-out” hunter, who with her family and friends protects a werewolf child - quite the character himself. Yes, she is mated to an alpha but that’s where the cliches end. The story has politics, intrigue, power struggles and lots of sarcasm.
          	It’s listed as a patreon exclusive so could become pay-only (a few chapters are getting loaded each day) But hey, I’d buy any of the books on my B&G Favorites list.

Don’t the let short review dissuades you. I’m just late for work, lol. It’s been added to my B&G Favorites list, enough said. Happy reading folks!

An epic werewolf classic! Adding Blood Moon by @HBFhelly to my B&G Favorites list! Blood Moon is a gorgeous book; a satisfying, delicious home cooked meal after months of takeout. This is not your typical “were”-story and it deserves to be voted up into the millions. The story is of a highly sought-after, “full blood” shewolf who flees an arranged mating with a cruel alpha and finds a home with (and mates)a rogue pack of brothers during her blood moon heat. It’s full of action, drama, lust, loyalty, love and fear as they all act to protect their pack; a pack that cannot seem to catch a break. The relationships between the brothers and with the main female lead, Leila, are complicated, nuanced and beautiful. Each character is well developed — you love them, root for them, get frustrated with them… They and their allies bear emotional and physical scars, loneliness, fatigue and a palatable longing to belong. And in the midst of their perilous environment, true love begins. The book is satisfyingly long, with multiple climaxes (plot-wise and other) culminating in a rip-the-throat-out confrontation. The author has recently posted 2 chapters so I expect she will finish it off soon. Bravo!

Another great book for my B&G Favorites list! “Sunshine after the Rain” by @oliviarose85
          Beautiful story about a woman whose husband dies right after telling her about an affair and asking for a divorce. Her grief is mixed with betrayal and anger. When the pregnant mistress showed up at the funeral I expected the story to turn to a struggle for legitimacy (who he really loved), money, and to have the in-laws be two dimensional by accepting the mistress as the woman their son “should have been with.” Instead of following this trope, the characters and their relationships grew to be more complex, accepting and forgiving. I cried more than one time…. Really lovely story that is about so much more than “love after divorce/death” — and the new romance is sooo sweet!

@oliviarose85 great suggestion! Unfortunately I can be quite lazy, lol! But I would like to get more suggestions on favorite books. My tbr lists are long and I mostly identify new books by stalking other readers lists.

@Nic6142 Aww!

            You know, you could start a review book! Just review every one you read, provide the title and the author’s name, and just give your honest opinion about it. If you enjoyed it, dedicate the chapter to the author. It’s a great way to pass the time, and you can have reader’s recommend books that have a similar feel, and have a ‘If you liked this book, check out…’

Adding 2 more to my “B&G favorites” list! I stayed up all night reading these 2 books. “I love you, but…” and “Karma” by the talented @Ashleighwilkes222 I have a dark obsession with cheating/infidelity books. Especially reading about how the injured spouse/partner discovers the affair (or finds out the details about the affair). These 2 books deliver in spades! Had to reread when the wife found MULTIPLE pieces of evidence of the affair left in her home - intentionally left. Think torn thong under the bed…. Yuck! Such a great scene!

@madamsusan Thank you for letting me know! A “2” was missing! @ashleighwilkes2222 is correct

Found a hidden gem! Love Always, Helena Wren by @blueinklines … very sweet story about a woman divorcing a cheat and finding love again with a lifelong friend. I love novels where the cheater/cad is put in his place! This book is still in progress but the author appears to be active. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
