Writing these chapters had me feeling mixed emotions. Bonnie had to look perfect and ideal, only to face the same prejudice she thought she left behind... and then Clyde just simply lost it. I may have cheered while writing that punch scene.

Chapter 18 is here and I'm excited and dreamy!
Y'all... Bonnie and Clyde practicing how to be married is both hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time.
They're literally studying each other like it's a test (which honestly, it kind of is) and discovering they know way more about each other than they thought... but also that they disagree on EVERYTHING important
The way they argue about kids and religion?? Peak relationship energy tbh. Plus Clyde really said "I don't mansplain" and then immediately mansplained why he doesn't mansplain I CANNOT! lol
Also can we talk about how they went from plastic rings to actual silver bands? The symbolism is SYMBOLING (unlike my brain not braining hahahaha) (And yes, the LOTR reference in the title was 100% intentional - their rings literally become the one rule that controls everything else in their fake marriage!)
