Andrew Alan Buhman grew up in Michigan, and has lived in South Carolina, Utah, California, and Iowa. He has visited Mexico, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. He was married in the Philippines. Apart from writing, he enjoys encouraging his wife's singing career, playing with his German Shephard, and working with a South Korean NGO that helps North Korean Refugees tell their stories.
