Carole, I hope to start writing again very soon. I pray by sharing my story of racism and the pain my brother and I endured, will help others who are subjected to this abuse. My mother has been battling Breast Cancer so I have been spending as much time with her as I can. She suffered 8 years of undying pain and abuse in her fight to get us back, I believe the resentment towards my father for taking my brother and I caused her cancer. My time with her now offers both of us a comfort and peace we so deeply need to fight her stage 4 cancer.
