I've been thinking about what to write here and how to process what happened for a few weeks now. Technoblade meant a lot to me, and I'm sure he meant a lot to everybody who read my work as well. In October of 2020, my friend introduced me to the dream SMP and Minecraft youtube in general. Immediately I fell in love with the lore and the people on the server. Technoblade was instantly one of my favourites. Everything about him, from his voice to the way he would play through his lore streams made a difference in how I viewed the world and viewed myself. His videos got me through very tough places in my life. He inspired me to write and to push my limits in all aspects of life. He inspired me to live my own life and be self-advocating. But most importantly, he taught me to value and take care of the people around me. I thank him for everything he's done, all the content he's put out, and all the people he's helped. I've learned so much because of him, and after fighting a long and tiring battle against one of the most deadly diseases in the world, I am glad that he can finally rest.
Rest easy, Alex. You will never be forgotten.
