Okay so I started on that story so far I have: “Twins? You two have been quiet ever since we got on the train… What’s up with you two?” Remus' voice cuts through my thoughts of sadness and rain.
“All good, just thinking. Right, Evie?” Sirius asks me as he turns to me from his spot from a still blabbering James.
“Yeah of course… Hey, has anyone seen Peter since we left the station?” I ask James.
The brunette boy freezes when we all turn to him. His voice instantly stops.
“Peter Pettigrew?” He asks softly, looking at his feet.
“Yes, that Peter! Do we have another Peter as a best friend?” I ask, I can tell anger is rising in my voice by the way Remus touches my arm and the way James is looking at me.
“If you would have been paying attention at all this whole train ride, you would know why he’s not sitting with us. Hell I’m pretty sure he told you over letter!”
“You git! I don’t think you asked me about my summer did you?! Maybe things have happened where I wasn’t allowed to talk to other people! I would’ve written to you folk if I could!!” I yell.
          “Sissy! Wait, come back!”
I quickly walk out of the train compartment, ignoring the yells of my name as I make my way to find a different compartment. Maybe I could go sit with Lily.
“Evvy? Where are you going?” I hear the voice I was looking for. I turn to the right where Lily is sitting in a compartment with Severus and Marlene, one of our dormmates.
“Lils! Just the girl I was looking for!” I force a grin onto my face as I slide into the compartment sitting next to Severus causing him to give me a small smile. “How was your summer, Sev?”
“It was good. Lily and I messed with Petunia a bit,” he smile increases when Lily not so discreetly kicks his upper shin.
“Have you read any new good books?” Marlene asks as she stands up to cross her legs underneath her.
“Actually, Yes I have. I have one you might like,” Lily turns to her as she describes it. I don’t fully listen. Why didn’t Peter write to me?

A feeling in the pit of my stomach makes me smile. His smile. It’s going to kill me someday. “I’ve missed you… My summer has been horrid not seeing you.. Or the others…” Something makes me want to tell him about the horrible things that had happened to me over the summer, about the things I had heard from my parents. But I don’t. I ignore that feeling, maybe some other time.
“Angie, what’s wrong? What happened?” He brushes a piece of hair that had fallen out of my braid behind my ear.
I smile, this time it’s my turn to lie and say I’m fine. “Come sit with Sev with Lily, Marls and I. We don’t have to go back to the marauders.”
He nods, making me drag him back to the compartment that I found Lily sitting in. “I’m back. Sorry.”
“No need. Lily and Severus here were just telling me about the pranks they pulled on Petunia over break… How are you doing, Pettigrew?” Marlene smiles. I sit back down next to Sev and Peter sits down next to me.
“I’m okay. Missed seeing my friends, really,” He shrugs as he leans his head against mine. Although since he’s only barely taller than me, it’s a little awkward until he gets comfy.
“I expect us to be at the castle soon. We better get our robes on.” Lily and Marleene get up, grab their uniforms out of their trunks and leave the compartment.
“Are you feeling alright, Evvy? You look really pale,” Sev asks, putting the back of his hand to my forehead.

“That sounds like a book you might like, Evvy,” Sev nudges me with his shoulder.
“Huh? What was it about? Sorry I wasn’t listening,” I feel my face heat up when I meet Lily's eyes. But she just shrugs.
“It’s alright I can tell you later. You look tired. We won’t be at school in a long while,” she says.
I nod but a familiar flash of blonde hair snags my interest as he walks down the train hallway.
“Pete!! Hey, Peter, wait up!!” I raise my voice a little so he can hear me. I reach out for his hand but he keeps walking and yanks his hand with him.
“Wormtail! Peter, please stop walking so fast,” I pant as I try to keep up with his long strides.
“What? What do you want from me, Evangeline?” He asks me in a deadly quiet tone. His eyes are filled with rage but also a little bit of longing. He never calls me by my full name.
“Why weren’t you sitting with us? Is it because of Prongs? My brother? Peter, please,” I whisper as I take his hand again. This time he doesn’t turn away from me, a light pink dusts his cheeks and neck.
“It’s nothing… It’s nothing,” his eyes soften when he looks into my eyes seeing the sadness lingering there. “I promise. I swear on our secret, Angie.”
