Avid reader and very poor and uncommitted writer likely suffering a hangover from finishing the latest book. I once read that a reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one. If this is true, I've lived in a thousand different time periods and zones and lived a lot longer than any cat. Writers and characters have moulded my perception of the world and allowed a temporary sanctuary and escape from reality. For that I'll always be grateful. In the light of George R.R. Martin's words, I look forward to turning the page and opening my mind to the next story, journey, dimension and adding another life to my collection of lives.
