I remember logging into this account of mine and receiving quite the shock for I didn't realise I had written four stories back when I was twelve. They do make me wish the floor would just open up and swallow me whole, but at the same time it is rather endearing to see little me attempt to write. Perhaps you could say writing has always been a way for me to escape reality ever since I was young. I was nine when I first read one of Enid Blyton's books, quietly vowing to myself that I too would one day become a writer of some sort. Fast forward about ten years later, and some things really just don't change, huh?

I'm nineteen now, in university, and am currently pursuing a degree in English with Creative Writing. My poetry collection book is now out on this app and it is a book I had kept to myself for months, afraid the poems wouldn't be good enough. But I'm tired of always being worried and scared. It's time to finally let my ideas out from the cage I have kept them in, and I hope you, my dear reader, will enjoy my poetry collection book titled 'sunflowers by the sea'.
