Writing poems never came up to my mind until I discovered wattpad. At first, it seems lame but it's actually really fun. Your poems/stories can be about anything. You don't always have to think about what others will think about it..you should write what you feel! All you need to do is get an inspiration and have faith. Alrightyy I'm done with my "awesome" speech. ^_^
