Hi, I'm sorry I've not updated recently. My homework exploded on mass and I've taken up things outside my school to get extra credit and that's been consuming any free time I would spend writing. However, my school has three full weeks until winter break. I promise I'll try to publish another chapter during that time

          	Thank you!

I had a happy thought, and I am indeed announcing this despite if anyone cares.

So if you've watched Guardians of the Galaxy (at least the first one), you would know that Peter Quill was raised by the Ravagers (space pirates) , after being captured/kidnapped/"picked-up" by their captain, Yondu. Yondu has a habit/obsession of collecting little figurines and putting them in his control panel.

Without trying to give away spoilers, Quill tricks Yondu into giving him a little orange haired elf thing, and Yondu smiles/laughs, and I have two theories as to why.

The simple way: he was proud of teaching Quill how to lie and trick effectively, and he let it go.

The long way that made me smile for a few minutes:

What if when Quill was younger, he would find these little figurines and try to give them to Yondu (he had no parents, he was the closest thing he had, and was probably the one that treated him the most decent), and at first Yondu was like "what the heck no" and that made Quill sad, (maybe he first tried giving him the elf and kept it for himself). But young Peter Quill thought that maybe he just didn't like the elf so he tried to find other small things that maybe Yondu would like, and when he did find something Yondu just took it to stop the kid from being sad/crying, so over time Quill started finding more and more of these thinking Yondu liked them, and with Yondu putting them on his control desk or panel or whatever it's called, he had no reason to not think he didn't like them. So after years and years a grown Quill had swapped the [REDACTED] with the elf, and Yondu was smiling remembering the time Quill first offered it to him.

If you are curious, yes, I am obsessed with those movies, specifically 1 & 2, and Baby Groot is my favorite.

@NifflerMakeMischief I would like to say I am half correct. I recently watched GotG Christmas special one or whatever it's called and apparently Peter gave a small figurine as a Christmas present that Yondu at first rejected but later accepted and gave him one in return, and that is how the obsession probably started

Spoilers ish.

I had a thought and it made me happy. What if before Harry hid/broke the Elder Wand he fixed Ravenclaw's diadem and Slytherin's locket and Hufflepuff's cup because supposedly the Elder Wand is (was) the most powerful Wand in the universe.

Just imagine Harry Ron and Hermione keeping the pieces and painstakingly making sure they have each and every bit just in case they need all the parts to make it work. Imagine them handing them back over to Professor McGonagall, and her proudly displaying them beneath the house hourglasses so that each house can admire their and others legendary artifacts.

Such special items should not be hoarded, especially when they speak of something that their house founders once had. Protected yes, but not stashed away and hidden.

Also, it may be seen as a tribute to Voldemort's downfall.

Spoilers??

So I had a thought last night: what if the professors at Hogwarts used to dress up on Halloween, but ever since Lily and James died and Harry survived they felt it would be kinda cruel to their memory and to Harry if they dressed up and had fun and pretended like an orphan wasn't made that night.

Like, imagine Professor McGonagall dressing up as Albus for Halloween, and Albus being her in turn, and maybe they took Polyjuice that day, so randomly during one of Professor McGonagall's classes the potion wears off and that one kid who broke his quill went to get a new one from his bag and when he looked back up it was Dumbledore smiling pleasantly and maybe deciding that class should be cut short.

But after Voldemort died (ish) the first time and when Harry went to Hogwarts, Professor McGonagall would watch him for any sign of depression, and she would remember a time when a similar messy black-haired teenager would walk into her classroom with his friends, dressed up as her, and sometimes a VERY convenient commotion would happen just outside, long enough for him to stand up and pretend to be teaching the class, and sometimes she may just watch from the door trying not to laugh. Maybe when watching Harry's eyes for tears she would remember when a red-headed, green-eyed girl would quietly help students fix their costumes (if they had any), and was willing to pass out candy to anyone that wanted one.

After the soon-to-be trio was caught with an unconscious troll in the girl's restroom, she saw the James in him, running off into unknown danger withoutconsulting an adult, but she saw the Lily as well, running after to help anyone, and becoming friends with them as well.

Maybe she was watching Harry so closely on Halloween (and likely all the time), remembering happier times, that she never really considered if he even knew the day his parents died.

This is so sad but I fully accept this as a very real headcanon

Spoilers??

Ok, so the other day I was watching an early episode from The Simpsons. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's basically a really funny cartoon and they have like 34 seasons and there's like 20-24 episodes each its impressive. Anyway, I was watching the episode that has a short conversation about whether a soul is real or not, and one of the main characters best friends went on to say something similar to:

"Your soul tries to escape when you sneeze through your nose, and saying bless you crams it back up there", or something.

Anyway, that got me thinking about the age-old, ever famous, debated topic of why Voldemort doesn't have a nose, so here's my kinda-joking-kinda-not thought.

Voldemort has split his soul so many times before he was resurrected or whatever you want to call it, so when he finally did get his body/form back he didn't have a nose because he didn't have enough of a soul to escape and it was stuck with him. Also, he got those two snake slits for him to breathe, and I've never heard of him getting sick before, so he doesn't need to sneeze, so there is no need for the tickle that happens in the upper part of his nose that makes the rest of us want to say "I HAVE TO SNEEZE".

In conclusion, he has no nose because he does not/can not sneeze, so there is no need for his nose, and he does not have enough of a soul left to either escape through his nose or sneeze ever again.

Thank you for hearing my ridiculous rant.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!

Now, this is an odd thought that struck me: it's about Norbert(a) from Harry Potter.

I felt disappointed when we saw her for about 30 seconds during the first film, and there was no mention of her in the seventh film. I feel as though she played a huge role in the Golden Trios' future.

It was the first outright illegal crime (not just against school rules) that they all committed together, and let's face it, they got away with it. Sure, they got caught sneaking around in the middle of the night, but Norbert(a) was never revealed to professors. I feel like this at least set the base for the Golden Trios' inevitable future of rule/law breaking. They all were able to pull this off at 11 to help a friend, which is rather impressive considering that two of them were relativity new to this world. I think that this crime made them think "now what exactly are our limits?" and if you've read the whole series, you'll know that their limits are quite a bit higher than from everyone else's.

They went from smuggling a dragon out of a magical castle school and out of the country in their first year, to breaking out of Gringotts on the back of a dragon while currently on the run from the government. And they didn't get in trouble for either of them (who wants to be that JA that gets the Boy-Who-Lived, the Chosen One, and The Savior or whatever nicknames they may have given him, put in Azkaban?).

Perhaps I'm exaggerating a bit much over a part that lasted for about fifteen minutes in the movie, but I really feel as though he/she played a big role in their future.

Thank you for hearing me rant.
