Hey there everyone!
I am, in fact, alive and well.
I do not know if I will ever go back to my fanfics to finish them, to be completely honest.
I started them at a time where I really needed something positive in my life - something productive. I will always think fondly on my fanfics that I started, but I think a huge part of writing is to create something that you can control. I feel like a lot of teens, myself definitely included, felt that lack of control spike - especially during Covid.
Covid was a time when I felt very isolated, abandoned by my friends, and generally miserable. Along with things happening in my home life, Wattpad definitely gave me an outlet. It also led me to some of the best fanfiction and who I would very easily consider my soul-friend five and a half years ago. Ambrissa Rayber. We even combined names ;).
Slowly, I stopped posting as frequently on Wattpad. I was on What's App talking to people Ambrissa and I met on Wattpad and building a community.
Eventually, I almost completely stopped updating when I started my first job, and I found a man that I truly adore. Raptor Gaming RG (on youtube if you like gaming - you can hear me on there). I obviously started dating that man (we are still dating - our 3 year is soon). Our What's App group chat became like a family refrigerator: pictures of people, art, first times, and happiness. It still is that way, thankfully.
Now I have a support system that I never expected, all from this chaotic app.
I give my full permission to use my multi-chapter fanfics as inspiration. Develop your own take of what I should have done, because I know there is someone looking for that same purpose <3
I'm not signing off completely, but it always takes a while before I get back on this app.
Be safe, Star-Children.
