Okay so I just watched Allegiant for the first time and OMG IT’S NOTHING like the book?!!! Don’t get me wrong, i love the story (altho we aren’t gonna talk about the ending) but the movie just completely ignores the whole fricken storyline and it just ruins the story that the book tells. The first film was good, the second was alright but the third- just no... It makes it into this whole sci-fi futuristic world and ignores the important factors like the whole DNA and invading people’s privacy their entire lives and Tobias was treated so unfairly in the film and PETER?! Can’t believe I’m saying this but I feel bad for the outcome Peter got cause like??? What???? That’s what I hate about films being different from the books it’s the fact that characters have redemption arcs and important morals are told and main SIGNIFICANT CHARACTERS (looking at Uriah there) are left out and completely ignored and its made into a love story with some fights here and there. Like NO, that is not what the authors are telling in their story; they chose the plot of their story for a reason and that reason shouldn’t be overlooked and made into another soppy love story! Okay guys rants over lmao
