Nikey Pettie, professionally known as Fari X and Nigiste Negestatt, is a life coach, motivational speaker, mentor, entertainer, song writer, author, and entrepreneur. A native of Boston, Massachusetts, and now resident of Atlanta, Georgia, her career as an all around entertainer and business-woman has been recognized by many notable sources. 

In 1993, Youth Pathways awarded her the Short Story Award, and she has written countless unpublished short stories and poems based on her own personal experiences ever since. Those short stories developed into her memoir - "Scars: Steps To Queenism" as well as her most recent work, Scars: The Storm & After.
