Hi, I'm Nika and I'm from Cape Town, South Africa. When I was younger I used to love writing short stories and poetry. However, upon graduating high school I stopped doing a lot of things I loved. 

Recently I discovered my love for writing again. I've always been nervous about sharing my writing and destroyed a lot of my previous work -- as young melancholy teenagers do. But lately, I've been thinking that it is not my job to decide whether what I write is good enough as long as I do my best when I create. 

So, for the first time in a long, I'm back to doing something I enjoy and I hope that you, the readers, will enjoy it too. Besides writing, I also enjoy dancing, listening to music, and playing volleyball. I hope I can spend the rest of this year rediscovering all the things I love.
