I think it's generalisation, we millennials, you gen z. Everyone was raised differently by parents who remembers diff times, gen Z in America think differently than Gen Z in past occupant country, millennials are like that too. Affirmation and acknowledgment are not traits for all Gen Z and we can't forget that ppl from this generation are nearly 30 y.o it's not that diff from millennials

            You kids are always looking for others to give you acknowledgement and affirmation
            We millennials, however, know that it's not people but the solitude that gives you peace of mind 

So are you in separation rn or what... hang out with them, hug or sth. Why waste time with lonely kid with problems,wanna be my psychologist? You love to analyse after all
