COME BACK

Hey friends!
          
          Wow, it's been awhile since I've stepped foot on here! I didn't mean to drop off the face of the earth, but it was for good reason, I promise!
          
          Ya girl signed up for her very first ever ARC read, but didn't stop there. I signed up for two at the same time *insert stressed/nervous face here*
          
          I wanted to have the ARC reader experience before actually needing readers of my own. And honestly, I loved the experience. So much so that I’ve signed up for a few more.
          
          That aside, I've also worked on a complete revision of my WIP, the project you know and (hopefully) love as Do You Trust Me? This project, as it was a series of its own, has now officially shifted into a book 1 mini-series of a much bigger universe. And, as excited as I am to create this story for you all, I am also a tad bit overwhelmed. So, I'm taking it day by day and step by step.
          
          Along with a revision, the book is going to get a rename. What will it be called? That is still Tobe decided. But, at least those of you who have been here since the beginning will have the bragging rights of knowing the bones of the story before it becomes what it soon will be! Pretty cool, right?
          
          I promise that I haven't forgotten you and plan to pick up on where I left off with my wattpad reading adventure.
          
          So, that's enough about me. What have I missed with all you?

Can you believe I’ve actually found time to write this week? I can’t believe it. 
          
          Life has been so busy lately and as much as I want to cry about it and scream that it’s unfair while I stomp to my room and slam my door like I used to do when I was a teen… I don’t. Because as I’m turning 31 in just 11 days, (I know, I’m basically a dinosaur) with age comes wisdom. Or so they say, I still feel dumber than a box of rocks at times LOL 
          
          The point hidden in my caffeinated rambling is that I’m growing to realize that we can’t control life. We also can’t let life control us. We can only control how we react to the bumps and the detours. So, instead of crying about how hectic it’s been lately, I’m enjoying the waves and trusting the process. 
          
          That being said, I have the next chapter of Do You Trust Me? ready to post. By 6:00 tonight, chapter 33 will be available for anyone who’s ready to read it!

          Yes, I’m still alive, but very busy! So much so that with what downtime I do seem to find, my brain has been too fogged to concentrate on my writing. To prove my point, this is the third time I’m attempting to post this. Love that for me (NOT)! 
          
          I finally have an open weekend and I think it will be the perfect opportunity to do some grounding exercises and cast a breeze to help clear out this brain fog. I’m creating the ultimate playlist with all of my favorite songs that help crack open my creativity. 
          
          That being said, let’s start a conversation. What are some of your favorite songs that really spike your writing motivation?

          I wanted to give an update, specifically for those who are up to date with the chapters that have been published for Do You Trust Me?
          
          I have made changes in chapters Twenty-Six and Twenty-Seven regarding the lore behind Talia's secrets. Whether you want to go back and look for these changes is up to you. I just wanted to give the heads up in case you read further chapters and find yourself thinking "What the heck is this girl talking about" lol

Hey, friends.
          
          After taking a few days off to cleanse my mental health, I am back! Sometimes our minds aren't very nice to us and for me, that is always a sign that my mind is tired and needs rest. So, that's what these past few days have been about. 
          
          Today, I hope to catch up on reading. I have your stories to read, as well as my work to read over and edit. 
          
          Honestly, I'm not sure how many more chapters I want to publish of Do You Trust Me? on here now that I am getting close to the end. (Actually, I'm about 3/4 of the way finished) My original plan was to keep it here to gain reviews and feedback that I can use for marketing once I officially publish. Maybe that is still the plan, my brain hasn't decided. 
          
          That being said, as this story wraps up to its cliffhanger ending, I will be working on the next idea, one that I started before writing Do You Trust Me? With that in mind, I'm considering posting the first few chapters I have written of that story here as well. If any of you are interested in that idea, let me know in the comments!

          Admittedly, I used all of my free time yesterday to work on my writing. I did not post chapters yesterday as I didn’t want to disrupt my brainstorming because once I’m distracted, all thoughts are gone forever LOL
          
          In theory, I’d love to get some more reading done today because I’m so invested in the stories of yours that I’m currently on and excited to read more from others. That being said, I still have a lot of work to get done with my own story(ies) before I will feel comfortable taking more free time to read (I haven’t even finished Iron Flame yet lol) 
          
          I promise, I’m not neglecting you guys on purpose <3

Good morning, Lovelies!
          
          Due to the storm that produced multiple tornadoes that hit the Midwest/south last night, I was up most of the night (along with my hyperventilating chihuahua). So, ya girl is running on four hours of sleep, tons of coffee, and the energetic fumes of a toddler who doesn't want to nap. 
          
          Today, I'm focusing on family time. We are big Minecraft players in this house, so that's what is on our agenda as we wait out another anticipated storm. 
          
          That being said, family is first for today. But any free time I might find will be used to brainstorm the ending to Do You Trust Me? and catch up on some of your chapters!
