Just posted a new chapter for ** Stay with me pt. 2**  (includes artwork)

So, a couple of weeks ago I announced that I would be releasing a new book called Tears of a Fallen Hero, and I’m so excited to finally share that I’m far enough into writing that I can start posting chapters!!! Yayyy! 
          
          This book is being made as a celebration for the new Ocarina of Time remake, and it’s a project that I’ve been really passionate about.
          
          This story is told from Link’s POV, but later on I’ll be adding different POVs as the story continues.
          
          I do want to say that this book might not be for everyone, and that’s okay. There isn’t really going to be a focus on Zelink. What I mean by that is I’m taking the story of Ocarina of Time from the game, the manga, and adding my own take to it.
          
          This isn’t going to be a simple happy ending where Zelda sends Link back in time and they meet again. Instead, I want to explore what Link went through, the losses he experienced, the friendships he made and lost along the way, and the hidden emotions that the original game doesn’t always show.
          
          I wanted to make sure I captured the characters and their dialogue as accurately as possible, so I spent a lot of time referencing the actual game. The Deku Tree especially was a challenge because he had SO MUCH dialogue. Like seriously... he talked so muchhhh. 
          
          A lot of the dialogue you’ll see in this story comes directly from the game, but I’ve also changed some parts and added my own scenes to fit my version of the story and the emotions I want to show.
          
          That being said, Child Link is still a child. Even though he’s sad about leaving his home in the forest, he’s still full of wonder and curiosity. At the beginning of his journey, everything is new and exciting to him, and I want to show that side of him too.

Hey everyone!! ( I just realized I say that for every post or Authors note)
          
           Anyway... since I've been stuck inside because of the forest fires and the hazardous air quality, I haven't really been able to go outside or do anythinggg.  So I've had a lot of free time. So I've been working on **Stay With Me Part 2** instead!
          
          I originally told you all that I was going to release this chapter next week, but since I've been so bored (and I finished all the final edits ), I decided... why wait?
          
          So here's the chapter a little earlier than planned!
          
          I really hope you all enjoy it, and as always, thank you so much for reading and supporting my stories. It means more to me than you know.

Oml, is anyone else in Ontario, Canada dealing with this yellow sky from the forest fires right now?? It's actually so bad. I went outside for literally 3 minutes just to water my plants, and the smoke already gave me a headache. It's crazy out there.
          
          And on top of that, Quebec has full-on tornado warnings right now.  I really thought today was gonna be a good day because I had such a good feeling about it.
          
          Anyway, if you're anywhere that's being affected by the fires, please stay safe and stay inside if you can. ❤️

**-BIG ANNOUNCEMENT-**
          
          A lot of you have read my Modern AU, "Stay With Me", and have been waiting for Part 2! The last time you read it, Zelda was seriously injured, and I kinda left you all on a cliffhanger. 
          
          Well... next week, the first chapter of the next book will finally be coming out! I still don't have a title yet, so for now it'll probably just be called "Stay With Me Pt. 2."
          
          I really hope you all enjoy it! Here's a little preface/preview of what's coming (Something simular will be in the book just not this exact wording):
          
          **Preface**
          Link's POV
          
          I never thought I would be so happy to hear Zelda complain.
          
          For weeks, all I heard were quiet whispers, tired sighs, and jokes she made just to convince everyone she was okay. But now, she was sitting beside me again, talking like she used to.
          
          She was getting better.
          
          Not all at once, and not perfectly, but every day she felt more like herself.
          
          One afternoon, we were sitting outside when Zelda suddenly looked over at me.
          
          "Link?"
          
          "Yeah?"
          
          "What do you think it's like to see the world?"
          
          I looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?"
          
          She looked out into the distance. "I mean actually seeing everything. Gerudo Town, Hebra, Zora's Domain... all of it."
          
          I thought about it for a moment.
          
          "I don't know," I admitted.
          
          Zelda laughed. "You don't know?"
          
          "Nope."
          
          "You're not even curious?"
          
          I smiled. "Maybe I am."
          
          And that was all it took.
          
          Zelda started talking.
          
          And talking.
          
          And talking.
          
          She told me about every place she wanted to visit and everything she wanted to see. She wanted to explore every corner of Hyrule, from the deserts of Gerudo Town to the snowy mountains of Hebra.
          
          She had a list.
          
          Of course she had a list.
          
          But listening to her talk made me realize something.
          
          For the first time in a long time, Zelda wasn't talking about what she had lost.
          
          She was talking about everything she still wanted to find.
          
          And maybe...
          
          Maybe we could find it together.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
          I’m excited to announce that I’m working on a new book called “Tears of a Fallen Hero.”
          
          This story is my own written interpretation of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - a retelling of Link’s journey, but with a deeper focus on his emotions, struggles, and the challenges he faces as he grows older. Also showing him not ending up with Zelda and time tearing the two apart, leaving Zelda dead and Link in major grief from his travels. (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask)
          
          The story will explore what happens after Link’s childhood adventures and how time changes him. It will dive into the hardships of becoming the Hero of Time, the sacrifices he makes, and the painful truth that time can be both a gift and a cruel force.
          
          Each chapter is around 2,000–3,000 words, so there is still a lot of work ahead. Right now, I’m still writing Link’s childhood journey before he reaches his seven-year slumber, meaning there is plenty more adventure, character development, and emotion to come before the book is complete.
          
          I’m writing this project as a celebration of the upcoming Ocarina of Time remake releasing in September. (YAYYYY)
