Alright y’all, I need your help! 
          
          There’s a book out there that I can’t remember the name of or the writer. 
          
          Genre: DARK psychological thriller
          
          MMC : Reclusive and cunning. House is in the middle nowhere. His dad worked for the local police department as a chief or detective but is now dead. MMC is commonly wearing black gloves or has them stored in his back pocket. He’s devious and probably crazy. But very controlled. 
          
          FMC : University student. Visits mom in psych hospital frequently. 
          
          MMC met/saw FMC for the first time at the psych hospital. FMC is taken and locked in a basement apartment. There’s a bathtub in the bedroom. The living space and kitchen are open. 
          
          It’s questionable if it’s a happy ending. It’s truly a psychological thriller. 
          
          The writer was male and updated infrequently. He finish the book in late 2021.

For those that remember when I was writing Little Lily; I used a young family member to inspire part of Little Lily’s speech pattern and some dialogue. 
          
          4 years later and this girl is now old enough to roast me for my frizzy ponytail and blackmail me for candy one minute, then ask me to carry her (bc she’s “just a baby”) the next. I can’t use any of her speech for Little Lily anymore because it is pure sass and attitude. Big Lily might benefit from it; she needs a new scene with Mario anyways. 
          
          The rewrite has seen no progress in a few days, for the best reason (Family time) but I developed a crossover chapter in my head that I’m super excited to get down on paper next week. 
          
          Thanks for sticking with me through this rewrite process! It’s gonna be awhile before I’m ready to upload but your support is pushing me to continue writing! 

A massage and new notebook finally unlocked the missing element for my TML rewrite. 
          
          When I initially started writing TML there was always something off about one key part that I couldn’t get past. Every time I reread it, it ruined the next few chapters for me. A friend used to tell me something along the lines of “Don’t let facts ruin fiction”, which placated my distaste for the few chapters, but I’ve been letting this one section of fiction hinder my rewrite motivation. 
          
          Now that I have the solution, I can finally start writing part 1 of the rewrite instead of switching between part 2 & 3. TML will obviously still be fiction but fixing this one section will calm the negativity when I write. ❤️ 
          
          Also just want to say how grateful I am for all of the readers that have reached out to me on Instagram this last week. Your support and kind words have really helped keep me sane these last two days. 

It is way too dang early for me to come on here and defend myself. Wattpad, what have you become!? 
          
          If you would like to communicate with me about the recent plagiarism issues, please do. If I find out you support and encourage writer’s plagiarizing and stealing, you will be blocked. 
          
          Let me highlight something very important to everyone. When I submit a report to Wattpad and Inkitt, claiming someone has plagiarized my work, I provide proof. I pull every single detail and scene and compare it to TML. Then Wattpad and Inkitt decide if my claim is accurate.
          
          So if you’re concerned I haven’t been providing proof, please don’t. I’ve spent hours of my life reading plagiarized work to get the proof everyone wants me to have. 
          
          And if you’re friends with my most popular plagiarizer. Please know she has never reached out to me to talk. If you believe she has, you can send me a screenshot on my instagram. Given this writer has changed her version of events several times,
          1. Claimed to have my permission to rewrite TML in summer  2025. 
          2. Claimed it was a reverb not a rewrite in January when she was caught for the 3rd time. 3. Claimed she never plagiarized despite continuously contradicting herself in posts and comments. 
          
           I doubt I’ll receive any proof she tried to communicate with me. Let’s be real, I’ve been dealing with her since 2021/2022 and she has yet to understand I will defend my work and provide the proof when she won’t, 
          
          I’m back on Wattpad to discourage people like her. I didn’t check my messages for 6 months and that gave her enough time to plagiarize my work for the 3rd or 4th time and actually get pretty far. I will not allow that to happen again. 
          
          I guess I’ll get my caffeine now and start working. Good morning to you too Wattpad! 

I’m on day 9 of working and absolutely exhausted. I managed to write a bit last night but it turned into a dark, depressing chapter  . 
          
          To ride myself of the depressing thoughts, I read Little Lily again and found a drafted part 5 that I never finished. I’m so excited to finish it and post it to Meraki. It’ll be the last part of the Little Lily mini series; finally something I can finish for Lily!  

One week back and I’ve spent it binging one of the best Enemies to Lovers books I’ve ever read. The author is a master storyteller that weaves the characters developing love into the plot so well. 
          
          What other must read books should I add to my TBR list? I noticed Wattpad removed quite a few of my older favorite so I’m on the hunt for more!
