Readers,
The Mafiosa’s Little was removed by Wattpad for ‘possible’ restricted content. Yes, you read that correctly; Wattpad didn’t bother to read my story before removing it after one report.
I know who reported my story and I know why she reported it. Unfortunately, this reader misinterpreted my plot, failed to read the story tags, and has misguided opinions about the CGL/Little world. I muted them once before and they came back with a vengeance. I tried being nice this time around and simply deleted their comments to prevent confusion and misinformation from being spread. This individual felt entitled to their voice being heard in my book and threatened to report me if I deleted their comment for a second time. Since I'm writing this post, you all know what I chose to do.
TML does not contain restricted content, so I refuse to change the plot, character details, or other aspects of my story to appease certain readers on this site. For this reason, and to protect my account, I’ve decided not to repost TML. I value my account, follower base, and returning readers more than TMLs potential votes, reads, and comments.
As a result of this new development, I’m taking a hiatus from the writing side of Wattpad and Inkitt to figure out where I want to go next with my books. This is the third issue I've had since beginning to write earlier this year, and I’m not mentally prepared for a fourth.
I will continue to write TML and all my other book ideas during this time. When I come back (to whatever platform I choose), I’ll have new and improved content for you all to enjoy.
I’m incredibly grateful for all of your support, praise, and encouragement thus far. I look forward to coming back to you all in the Summer of next year.
