It is way too dang early for me to come on here and defend myself. Wattpad, what have you become!? 
          
          If you would like to communicate with me about the recent plagiarism issues, please do. If I find out you support and encourage writer’s plagiarizing and stealing, you will be blocked. 
          
          Let me highlight something very important to everyone. When I submit a report to Wattpad and Inkitt, claiming someone has plagiarized my work, I provide proof. I pull every single detail and scene and compare it to TML. Then Wattpad and Inkitt decide if my claim is accurate.
          
          So if you’re concerned I haven’t been providing proof, please don’t. I’ve spent hours of my life reading plagiarized work to get the proof everyone wants me to have. 
          
          And if you’re friends with my most popular plagiarizer. Please know she has never reached out to me to talk. If you believe she has, you can send me a screenshot on my instagram. Given this writer has changed her version of events several times,
          1. Claimed to have my permission to rewrite TML in summer  2025. 
          2. Claimed it was a reverb not a rewrite in January when she was caught for the 3rd time. 3. Claimed she never plagiarized despite continuously contradicting herself in posts and comments. 
          
           I doubt I’ll receive any proof she tried to communicate with me. Let’s be real, I’ve been dealing with her since 2021/2022 and she has yet to understand I will defend my work and provide the proof when she won’t, 
          
          I’m back on Wattpad to discourage people like her. I didn’t check my messages for 6 months and that gave her enough time to plagiarize my work for the 3rd or 4th time and actually get pretty far. I will not allow that to happen again. 
          
          I guess I’ll get my caffeine now and start working. Good morning to you too Wattpad! 

I’m on day 9 of working and absolutely exhausted. I managed to write a bit last night but it turned into a dark, depressing chapter  . 
          
          To ride myself of the depressing thoughts, I read Little Lily again and found a drafted part 5 that I never finished. I’m so excited to finish it and post it to Meraki. It’ll be the last part of the Little Lily mini series; finally something I can finish for Lily!  

One week back and I’ve spent it binging one of the best Enemies to Lovers books I’ve ever read. The author is a master storyteller that weaves the characters developing love into the plot so well. 
          
          What other must read books should I add to my TBR list? I noticed Wattpad removed quite a few of my older favorite so I’m on the hunt for more! 
          
          
          
          ** TML is going back up, with a disclaimer chapter only, to discourage future plagiarism.

          My hiatus has lasted far longer than the 6 months I initially planned for. I apologize to all my readers for leaving you without any type of explanation. 
          
          I left Wattpad and my writing hobby in 2020/2021 for a common issue on the Wattpad/Inkitt world…plagiarism. I stayed away for so long because the thought of writing and dealing with more plagiarism was too much. I was constantly stressed, anxious, and frustrated. 
          
          As I come back 5 years later, I’m devastated to see nothing has changed. I’m disappointed to see MY story has been plagiarized over a dozen times. 
          
          However, I’m incredibly grateful for my loyal followers who have continuously monitored and reported the plagiarizer in my absence, on both Wattpad and Inkitt. You two are wonderful humans and I appreciate your unwavering support to Lily’s story. 
          
          Let me be very clear, I have NEVER given anyone permission to use Lily’s story as a prequel, sequel, or a spinoff. I have never, and will NEVER support anyone who rewrites or takes plot points from my stories. For the readers that support the plagiarized stories, I’m ashamed and disappointed in you. 
          
          Now, onto more positive news. Staying away from writing platforms has allowed my creativity and writing motivation to slowly (and I mean verrrry slowly) return. Lily has a rewrite. Her story has changed a little as I’ve changed. I’m loving her new storyline and I’m enjoying the passion of writing again. 
          
          I look forward to reading on Wattpad again and maybe someday, in the future when I can trust Wattpad/Inkitt again, posting Lily’s rewrite and more of my stories.  
          
          Here’s to a fantastic 2026 and beyond.
