The problem is, a lot of people care too much about what other people think. Stop worrying about what other people think and focus on yourself. Be true to you and do the things that make you feel happy and confident. Bottling in feelings and emotions is unhealthy as well as a trauma response for some. So is putting yourself on the back burner while pouring your energy into others. Showing emotions and talking about your feelings is a sign of emotional maturity and strength. It’s not always easy to do so but I’ve found that I feel much lighter letting everything out instead of keeping it all in. At the end of the day, people need to learn to love the person they see in the mirror, flaws and all, because none of us are perfect. Y’all have a great day/afternoon/evening.
