Hello everyone, and Happy New Year. I hope you all had a lovely end to the year and a wonderful start to this one.
          	
          	I know I’ve been absent from this board for a long time. Some of that was unintentional, but some of it was a conscious decision to step away. Those of you who have been with me from the beginning—both here and on Inkitt—know that I’ve been dealing with serious illness in my family. Unfortunately, we went through two severe episodes last year, in July and again in November. As you can imagine, it took a heavy toll on all of us. 
          	
          	There was simply too much happening, and mentally I wasn’t in a good place. Everything came to a halt, including my writing. Which was also why I stayed away from this board; I didn’t want anyone thinking I was making excuses.
          	
          	We’re in a better place now. Still, it’s incredibly hard to see someone so capable reduced to a childlike state—having to relearn how to read, speak, and write like a five-year-old.
          	
          	I do want to upload. I truly do but I also don’t want to make promises I can’t keep, but I will begin uploading again. I hope to finish this book and eventually move on to the other stories cooking in my head.
          	
          	I hope you’ll stay with me—but if you can’t, I understand.

@Nina_Sutton18 that’s horrible to hear, I’m so sorry you and your family are going through that. I wish you the very best, don’t feel pressured to update. The ones who truly care and love your book will actually stay and patiently wait for you when you’re ready! Excited for the next update, and I hope everything is settled and you are all doing good❤️❤️
