I hope you get to finish all the stories. I found all of them very different yet refreshing and very addicting. Thank you for your stories and here's hoping 2023 will get you the chance to finish all of them. Thank you.

Hello, everyone! I'd just like to announce that I have plans to release the next chapter of 'A Gentle Torment' today. BQ, YH, and MY all have a brief trip into the mortal realm in order to spend some time together during BQ's recovery while YZ seeks out DH with BFJ's bell-anklet in order to get help from the fox clan to clear the seduction spells Xuan Nv cast on Li Jing.
          
          It's been a long time, but if readers would like me to continue it further, please let me know. :)

Re-read ‘In darkness’ and waiting eagerly for the next chapter!!

I'm back. My Grandmother did indeed pass away and my family is still trying to stitch itself back together from the mess it's left it in. I have more classes this semester, but I'm also going to be quitting my job soon (thank god for financial aid). 
          
          I plan on posting the next chapter of In Darkness by Monday at the latest... I'm struggling to find a good cover photo to fit the chapter and I stubbornly refuse not to have one this time around. lol.

Apologies for the lack of updates, lately. Today we got the news that my Grandmother’s v. organs are failing. My mom is flying out to see her today, without me (which is worrisome considering her current state of mind and upsetting because of how close I am to both of them), and I’ll be in charge of her doggo. My little sister is going away for a week to stay with a family friend. I was planning on posting the update for In Darkness today... but due to the circumstances, I don’t think I’ll be able to finish tonight so I will be uploading it in two parts. The first will be released shortly. The second will hopefully be finished as soon as I get back to being able to write again. I’ve been stuck on the last scene for over a week, and I don’t think today will be the best day for me to finish it (this chapter is pretty tense and a slight challenge to write without input). Everything aside, I hope that anyone who still follows In Darkness will at least enjoy the first part.

NOTES:
          A World of Our Own is still being worked on --- I'm struggling with making the time jump from when BQ is an infant to adulthood (also considering adding in a few things from her brief childhood). Still meant to be a more lighthearted fic, but it will occasionally have some serious moments (given the circumstances/plot).
          
          In Darkness: Next Chapter --> Qing Qiu's royal family is drastically unprepared for Xuan Nu's move. Expecting her to strike only on Mount Junji, she hits something even closer to home that will eventually be used against Bai Qian. A-li is put in danger. Bai Qian is labeled a criminal by Xuan Nu's followers and is forced to flee with Li Jing, an injured Ling Yu, and Yaozu. Seeking information, Li Jing splits from the group early on during their retreat to a safer location. When he reunites with the others, Xuan Nu has already located the remaining three and taken Bai Qian in for an 'interrogation'. Shortly after Die Feng arrives in the Nine Heavens, Mo Yuan hears Bai Qian's bell ringing through an enchantment he cast over it and promptly cloud jumps to Kunlun Mountain.
          
          I know many of you are eager to get the next chapter of A Gentle Torment. Believe me, I'm still working on it. This semester I have a heavier course load than in the previous years, and I have a new job, so even now I can't say for sure when it will come out. Just know that it's still in the works. I haven't abandoned it yet, as it's one of my top favorite fics that I've written to date (aka, I'm a slut for smut and there's no way I'm dropping it).
