*sigh*"This is frustrating..." I could help but run a hand though my hair my eyes glued to the holographic screen floating in front of me.
I soon hear a portal open at the clearing edge, my eyes darted over to try to see what was there in the pale moonlight. I saw a man dressed in a uniform similar to Grillby's, he had wolf ears and a tail, though he was wearing glasses you could see his purple eyes slightly shining in the pale light. I could barely make out his dark mint hair, ears, and tail.
"Good to see you again Nin." I couldn't help but chuckle and shake my head before standing up and walking over to him and shaking his hand.
"It's going to see you to McAllen and didn't I tell you to call me Kendra when by ourselves or with family."
*Chuckles*"Wait? Kendra.. you have bad dark circles under your eyes... You been having nightmares again haven't you?"
I let go of his hand and walked over to the tree I was sitting at earlier and grabbed the bundle waiting there. I tossed it at him and pulling up my mask to rest at the bridge of my nose.
"Doesn't matter right now, put those on we need to get moving."
I turned away from him to look at the road that was beyond the clearing edge. I put my hand in my hoodie pocket and grabbed hold of the smooth surface and pulled it out, I looked at it.
It was a glowing dark cyan heart locket with a flower in the middle. I couldn't help but sigh and pull up my hood as I stared at it my eyes glowed to match the locket.
"I miss all of you guys." I felt a light squeeze on my shoulder and turned my head to see McAllen.
"We'll find them, ALL of them Kendra I promise." With he pulled his hood up and started to the road, I quickly pocketed the locket and ran to catch up to him, failing to notice the nine different glowing colored flowers sprouting up where I once stood.
