Alright. Listen up.
          TLDR is that I'm continuing Enter the Monsterverse. Despite the idea of Kaiju's talking being a turn-off for a lot of people, I had to realise that no matter what I do, there will always be people that don't agree with me. It's a fools errand to go back on everything I've worked on, all the emotions I've felt just because I'm scared someone won't like it. That's not what this was ever about.
          
          Just as long as I am passionate, care deeply about this franchise and listen to feedback where it counts, I'll be fine. I just have to trust in myself. If I like it, someone else will.
          
          HOWEVER, I don't want this to be my legacy.
          I love Enter the Monsterverse, I love what I've done here... But the truth is that this world isn't entirely mine. The story, some of the characters, and the overall plot is, but the baseline is that this is a fan story done out of love. It will NEVER be entirely mine.
          
          Therefore, once I'm finished posting Chapter 8 of PM, and the rest of the ETM chapters (They're being posted this month I'm gonna start working on them immediately after I've posted this), I'm gonna work on an original story.
          
          I want something to call my own. Something that represents... Me. Enter the Monsterverse was my first love, but it is by no means where my story ends.
          
          What I'll do with this original story is anyone's guess. I'll be brainstorming as I write ETM and stuff, I think I've got some ideas for it.
          
          Anyway, yeah. ETM or PM aint cancelled. Imma go brainstorm ideas and write now, bub bye

I think I've come to a descision on what I'm gonna do going forward. I'm gonna sleep on it before I say anything, but if all goes well then you guys don't need to worry about it being cancelled.

hello there, just putting this here to ask if you could put the character art from chapter 6 at the top of the newer chapters or such? having a little trouble remembering what they look like halfway through a reread and i think putting the art of characters thatll be in the chapter at the top would be a good idea! you do you and very excited for number 8!

Alright, legitimate question for you guys:
          For the people who have read Chapter 7 of Pacific Mayhem, what are your general thoughts on the chapter?
          I am personally a tiny bit dissatisfied with certain parts of it, namely the conversation during the valley before the Strix, but I wanted to know your guys thoughts on it, bad and good.
          
          I've been writing Chapter 8 and re-reading chapter 7 and there are some parts of it that feel... unfocused, if that makes any sense. I kinda wanna go back and change those specific segments to better fit with what I've got planned, but I feel like they work well enough for the time being.
          
          If it really bothers me, I'll change em and tell you guys. Otherwise, I gotta leave shit alone and focus on getting some new stuff out. Maybe when Chapter 8 has been released I'll do some light editing and rewriting to those segments to give them a bit more ooomph.
          
          Anyway, please tell me what ya'll thought. I'd love to know, Chapter 8 is coming along a nicer that 7 was, so that'll be hopefully soon.

I'm gonna try my hardest to outdo myself when the next true fight scene of Pacific Mayhem comes along, I really think I could do better. 
          
          Been thinking about the fight scene in Chapter 6 actually, it's not a bad fight scene, but it's probably the weakest part of the entire chapter, so I wanna give that whole setting another shot at some point. Get real creative with it.

I want to put Kiryu in a tortilla, put him in the microwave and watch him spin around for a minute.

          I am not interested in your offers to turn my stories into comic books or other visual mediums, nor am I looking for collaborations of any kind. I am a capable artist in my own right and I do not need your help to turn these stories into animations or drawings. That is something I will do for myself.
          
          I appreciate the few offers I've gotten, but I'm just not interested. Chances are if you're looking for work or clients to draw for, you shouldn't be looking in a fanfiction website of all places. Any comments asking to collab are going to be deleted, and repeated spam will result in a block, so please keep the comments strictly related the story and things relating to said story.
