It’s been awhile, I know XD
Unfortunately I don’t have any huge update to give other than that I’m still alive. (And yea, I’m still putting off Luigi’s Stoopid Mansion, even though I still remember the book fondly to this day. Idk if I’ll ever finish it to be totally honest.) I wanted to hop in here and say that I’ve taken a new step in fanfiction that may or may not come as a surprise—I’ve finally gone and made an account on An Archive of Our Own
You can find me under the same name (NintendoJedi), and I’ll be posting a bunch of my old works there in the coming days (specifically my big novels and Castle Bleck Craziness). I’m not sure about the other stuff tbh, but I mostly made this move so that I could reach more people.
And, honestly, there’s an element of bitter sweetness to it as well, since it feels like Wattpad has become so much more of a soulless joke in the last 5 or so years. I won’t go into all of that now, and I don’t plan to delete my account or anything, but it’s definitely not the fun landscape it used to be, and that’s sad
As a side note, is anyone still reading my SPM manga on here? I’m finding it not very conducive to the formatting to keep posting it here, and I’m contemplating just quitting with it on Wattpad XD
I’ve begun posting it on both Instagram and Tumblr (spmthemanga), so it’s still accessible. Let me know what you think

@Pikagirl1527 Yeah, AO3 isn’t as nice when it comes to formatting, but I just wanted to be able to reach more. It took me about 2-3 weeks to get my account approved, so hopefully you won’t have to wait too long!

@NintendoJedi I’m not on Tumblr as often but I am on Instagram more. There are times that I feel like I miss some things there though. I can see that A03 is stating that it’s still in beta and requires invites to actually make an account which I did request one but I don’t know how long it would really take. I can use it as a guest though and I can see your Castle Bleck story and the first chapter of Luigi’s Mansion. It would be easier if it was an app since I have a pretty good chance that I would forget it exists as a website but I’m glad you’re still keeping your account here since I enjoy reading Luigi’s Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine again here too. It’s not a bad thing to expand to other platforms though and have stories up in multiple places so users on specific platforms can enjoy the stories and they are not exclusive to only one. I will be doing the same thing once A03 accepts my request to make an account and I’ll be moving my major stories around. I heard that A03 works differently from Wattpad though where you can’t save your work and finish it later before publishing so I might still be publishing on Wattpad first and copy and pasting my content to A03 a day or two later. That seems like the most convenient way to do it to me.

@Mariofanandwriter Thanks! I know, it’s been forever XD But I do intend to stick around, at least not delete my account. It’s very nostalgic. @Pikagirl1527 @SentientPaintCan Yeah, I’m actually behind in posting my manga here, I think I’ve missed the last few updates. I can still post them I guess, but the readers have been virtually nonexistent here. I do have all the parts arranged in order on my Insta and Tumblr actually, on my profiles! (For Insta they’re arranged in my highlights, and on Tumblr I have a master post pinned.) AO3 is a little funny, but it doesn’t seem too hard to learn. It would be nice if there was an app, but I’ve already gotten some traffic in the short time I’ve been there, so I’d say it’s worth trying!
