Hey, I just thought I'd let you all know that the book I published a few years ago (the one with open letters to dead musicians, which until now I thought I was finished with) is getting a new chapter either today or tomorrow (aka. whenever I've finished writing it). A musician who I've looked up to for a number of years and who is widely regarded as a legend passed away almost 3 weeks ago, and it hit me harder than I could have ever expected. He's not a grunge musician by any means but he is a legendary rock musician, so I've decided to dedicate a chapter to him. I would have done it sooner, but I literally forgot about the book until earlier today.

Thank you to @metal_rock_luver for tagging me. Ten facts about me:

          1) Before I was into rock and metal, I went through a three-year phase of being obsessed with Michael Jackson. To this day, people still bring it up conversation just to annoy me.
          2) When I was 12, I became a Nirvana fan seeing Heart Shaped Box by chance while browsing YouTube. Even though I had heard of them before, I never bothered listening to them. This led to me becoming a massive rock and metal fan, and Heart Shaped Box remains my favourite Nirvana song to this day.
          3) My brother plays drums, keyboard, marimba and glockenspeil, and is a member of my country's national youth orchestra.
          4) This same brother recently challenged me to write an entire song using only sheet music rather than playing an instrument, and so far it's going terribly.
          5) I had guitar lessons for 10 months when I was 11, but I quit because my parents refused to get me a decent electric guitar (I was stuck with a 30-year old acoustic guitar) and also because my guitar teacher kept refusing to teach me guitar TAB because "it's for stupid people who can't understand sheet music".
          6) I am professionally trained in singing.
          7) Despite my love for music, my ultimate dream in life is to become a medical research scientist, as I've had a passion for science and medicine my entire life.
          8) I am a hardcore tomboy, and I only wear dresses on special occassions once or twice a year.
          9) Even during the summer, it's rare not to see me wearing at least one black clothing item. About 70% of the t-shirts I own are black. The rest are either blue, grey or white.
          10) I have a YouTube channel where I talk about social and ethical issues. I'm very strong-minded and I am generally considered to be too mature and intelligent for my age (15) as most of the time I prefer having deep, serious discussions rather than casual conversations.
I nominate @rhcpisbae @deadseattle and @Phonesrule1999. I apologise in advance if you've already been nominated.

          You're welcome for the follow!
What's your favourite Nirvana song (or album)?
P.S: I saw Montage of Heck a few months ago, and I LOVED IT!

You're welcome for the follow @CobainiacForever, and I'm glad you like Nirvana too! My favourite songs are probably Heart-Shaped Box and In Bloom, and my favourite album is In Utero too. I just love it how some of the songs are loud, while others are quiet, yet they seem to fit together on one album so well. I saw Montage of Heck a few months ago and I agree, it is AWESOME. I went to town with my family a few weeks ago and actually saw it for sale in a shop. I really wanted to buy it, but I couldn't because I'm not 15 yet, although I LOOK old enough, I look older than I actually am, so I guess I could have bought it, but my parents would ask about it or watch it before I did to check it was okay. My parents let me watch some 15's, but I'm almost 100% sure they wouldn't buy it for me because of all the swearing, s*x references and drug references, plus they don't actaully know I like Nirvana anyway.
