@Nirvyan Your story had a unique concept, and as I said, it's also similar to my idea... that's why I remembered it.
            
            I'm not sure if I have the right to suggest this, so please feel free to ignore it if it doesn't feel right... it's completely your choice. But maybe consider republishing the story and just letting it be, even if you don't update it for now. Sometimes it just takes a little time for a story to reach the right readers. If it's not out there, it won't even have the chance to be discovered, right?
            
            Even if only a few people read it now, maybe someday someone will come across it and really connect with it. And that itself makes your effort worth it.
