My bird passed away a couple weeks ago and after watching the president elect Joe Biden speak today I started crying, I’m a female who is part of the LGBTQIA+ community and I had a memory of talking to my bird, I said “ranger, I’m going to be president someday and your going to be the presidents pet” he would chirp and smile, I remember looking outside where he was buried and whispered “we did it ranger, I can be president now, your going to be the best bird”
