(Warning I will get very nerdy in this explanation.)I'm the original Star Trek series, Leonard nimoy (the guy who played Spock) was told to punch somebody to knock them out. Nimoy didn't want to do that and believed the vulcans should have a trademark move. So he created the Vulcan nerve pinch, which if a Vulcan pinches your neck in the right place you will pass out. Only vulcans can do this but I have learned that humans can do it but it doesn't make you pass out it just hurts A LOT. Is that a good enough explanation?
