          I'm back!
          
          First: I am sorry for my year-long absence. Life got bumpy and changed in many ways after my grandmother's passing. Thank you everyone, for your patience and condolences. It truly meant everything.
          
           Second: Chapters one and two of The Blue Lotus have been refreshed, and are finally the version they deserve to be. I will continue to update each chapter until we reach the brand new never seen chapters. I won't leave you hanging on that cliff from Zidain's Shadow, much longer.
          
          And third: The Blue Lotus is now crossposted on AO3 with the updated chapters.
          
          Thank you for not giving up on me. We're not ending The Blue Lotus yet.

Sorry everyone, this chapter was and is especially hard to write. While I do have most of this and the next chapters ready (besides tweaks and editing), this chapter is not.
          
          I've been struggling since my grandmother's death and handling predatory relatives in dealing with her estate, as well as my own work and responsibilities. I've not been left with much free time.
          
          I had hoped to be uploading it today, but damn it, it's just not right, and because of that, all the characters are on strike. So I'm going to sit down with them, meet their demands, and hopefully I will be able to get this done.
