Hi there everyone!
It looks like I am having a spree. After a year of hiatus, here I am, back with another poem in my collection.
Being a child is already hard enough. I don't know what it's like to be a boy but heck! Do I know what it is like to be a girl?
Since childhood, parents try their hardest to groom their girls into the epitome of what is an ideal woman according to the society. They groom them to be the perfect caregiver, homemaker and, dare I say, docile wives claiming it is all for their own good.
Is it though?
My new poem highlights this plight of every girl and her parents.
