As my name is Niyigiraimbabazi Zacharia raised in Uganda. Growing up in my village we didn't have TVs to play videos or movies. I loved watching movies. One day my brother bought a TV, he borrowed money and bought the TV Screen, the DVD player, as well as speakers. And one evening when I was coming home, I saw a large crown of people at my brother's house. Getting their, to my surprise, the people were watching an African Music video, in my brother's yard. When I was told that it was my brother's, I was filed with wonder.  And of course From that moment on, I'd never have to pay to watch a movie. He would play movies every evening, and I was there each of them. And I learned most of the things that I know about Acting, Directing, Writing, and producing from watching those movies. When he and my mom applied to come to America, every night I'd have dreams of being this big shot Director, Actor, and Writer, and meeting people like Arnold Swazineger, Sylvester stallone AKA, Rambo, Jackie Chan, jet Lee, and so many others. And when our application was finally approved, we moved to America in 2009. My first challenge was to learn to speak English, cause I didn't speak any at all. I worked day and night on speaking well. Every time someone said a word to me, every time I got home, I'd repeat it to myself over and over and over each morning and each night, until I was satisfied by how it sounded in my mouth. I took it one word at a time. Same thing with reading and writing, I took it slowly but persistently. And in one year, I had learned to speak, to write as well as to read perfectly well. I then started on my writing. 2010 is when I started writing my first short stories. I'd give them to my teachers to read. A lot of them I posted online. I also got involved in music which I also posted online. And right now Taking Back America is my first ever directed... anything. And the future is looking grand. Just like I;d dreamed all those years ago.
