I want some advice on how to write abuse without any stereotypes, and I want to make it authentic. I'm reading a bunch of articles, and I just want some more advice.

NoBlood_Vampire

@VinnieZinnie @Oreo10987654 That's all some great advice. I'll do some more research. Thank you

@Saskia_Is_here maybe do some research on Stockholm syndrome? It’s when you empathize with your abuser despite them being in the wrong, also, avoiding questions or not giving answers is something abusers do.

If the character is being abused and then gets out of the toxic environment, make sure they still have trauma- like they aren’t going to be sunshine happiness
            Otherwise idk
