Women aren't "too sensitive." We're exhausted. Exhausted from growing up in a world where girls are taught fear before freedom, caution before confidence, survival before peace. Every warning women hear starts the same: don't walk alone, don't trust too easily, don't speak too loudly, don't exist too freely. And somehow, after all of that, society still acts surprised when women stop being soft.
Women are tired of watching men destroy lives and still get defended because their "future" matters more than a victim's trauma. Tired of seeing people question a woman's clothes, choices, timing, and character before questioning the man who caused the damage. Tired of male ego being protected more fiercely than female safety.
The anger didn't appear overnight. It was built slowly through disrespect, entitlement, harassment, betrayal, mockery, and years of being told to stay quiet to keep others comfortable. Women are expected to forgive endlessly while men are praised for basic decency. And the second women become colder, distant, guarded, or harder to trust, suddenly we're called bitter or hateful.
But softness cannot survive forever in environments that punish it. Some women stopped expecting understanding a long time ago. Now they just see the pattern clearly, and once you see it clearly, you can never unsee it.
