@Hanasierrahan  I’m really glad you noticed that!  Aiden’s connection with Emuit is definitely one of the emotional anchors of the story, and that avalanche moment was meant to show both his vulnerability and his strength.
            
             I’d say my favorite emotional layer to reveal will be Rachel’s hidden past and how it changes her relationships with the others. Can’t wait to share that part! 

@Noplace007 That makes sense I really liked how that moment gave so much depth to Aiden it felt very personal and moving. I’m curious do you already have a favorite emotional layer that you’re most excited to reveal later on?

@Hanasierrahan Thank you! That’s a really good point! Aiden is definitely one of the most important characters, but not the main one. His past with Emuit is a key moment, but there are other emotional layers in the story that will unfold as the book progresses
