If there was ever a time the real world needed saving, now could qualify. Sure, our history has seen worse, but is that really an excuse to stand by and simply watch? 
Who will save us if not ourselves? Will money? Maybe. Will wokism and global awakening/enlightenment? Maybe. Probably not though. Will God? Maybe. 
But are we going to stand by idly? Are we going to wait contentedly, just simply hoping beyond hope that we'll be saved? Do you really believe that inactivity and pacifism will save you? 
At the same time, what's the point in going overboard and derailing society with preposterous ideas that no rational human would believe. Why present as fact what clearly is not? Be mindful. Don't waste the time of an already struggling society with platitudes and nonsense. 
Be real. Be proactive. Everything in moderation. Be helpful. Care about other people. Research. Advocate for what you believe in, but don't condemn and crucify someone for doing the same just because you disagree. If you feel the need to be angry all the time, constantly worrying, always attacking other people for their beliefs, then you need to rethink the validity of your own beliefs. Yes, what you feel is valid. But that pertains to all humans, regardless of differences of any kind. 
So when you walk outside today, think about the world. Think about the people in it. Try to understand that people are just as angry, scared, confused, sad and lonely as you. Go help the world. Save somebody today. You can't save anyone if you're apathetic and waiting complacently for a knight in shining armour. Be a light my friends.
