@NocheRosa A writer, I want to major in history for fun. As crap as my high school was, it pays for the program, so I can at least appreciate that in spite of the what happened, I’ll explain in a PM if you want. It’s a bit hard to explain, but it’s a college program that grants college credit, helps you find jobs through the program, teaches you life skills, but weirdly enough, it takes place at a community center rather than a university, and only offers assistant teachers to help you, and I have a hard time asking for help, but even when a teacher explains it, it goes over my head. I think it’s due to severe budget cuts, the community center thing, I can’t help but wonder why they had to cut so much money, but I don’t want to pry. It’ll be easier to continue going to college after I graduate this program because it’s supposed to look good on my record/resume.

@HistoreEternelle
            A historian or scholar?
            Life skills are very important for everybody to learn. If your university has a tutoring program I would recommend it. I go to mine and it’s been a big help, I feel as though I understand more of what is going on in my classes.
            Try applying for an on campus job. It allows for a portion of your check to be directed towards paying the school off. Whether that be tuition or housing and then you can do what you like with the rest.

@NocheRosa Currently just learning life skills so I can move out, it’s a college program meant specifically to help disabled kids learn life skills, as it’s a lot harder for us to get a job due to discrimination, learning struggles, etc.Later though, I’m going to major in history and writing, I just need to focus on how to pay rent first, math goes over my head. I volunteer at the ICA Food Shelf and Second Harvest as my jobs.
