Reeee why is it SO hArD to find gender neutral for the reader in a story?! >;(

I guess it's more easier to write a story that focuses on one gender for the reader instead of making it gender neutral. I think the author would have to make the writing more diverse if they make the reader gender neutral. (I'm not really sure, it's just my opinion :/)
