TFW it's time to edit the chapter you've been dreading. I usually enjoy editing, but some chapters are just brutal (*cough*38*cough*). Thank god for caffeine! Dunkin's Strawberry Dragonfruit refresher is my drug of choice lately. Annnnd, GO!

The Valley of Lies is a Top Pick of 2024 in The Amby's Fantasy/Novel category!! Thanks so much to all my readers and the Amby's judges for giving my little (LONG) story a chance, even in its rough form! 
          
          Update: I'm through chapter 4 on the second draft edits and hoping to get a couple chapters revised each week. Crossing fingers! :)

I've finally started editing The Valley of Lies! It's in the Amby's comp, so I won't be updating Wattpad yet. My goal is to update after the comp/New Year, so keep that in mind if you plan on reading it. It's not in bad shape now, but I'll be paring down the word count and fixing those pesky first draft inconsistencies. It took over a year to write, but I'm hoping the edits will be (much) quicker! Luckily, it's not my first rodeo. (Yes, I'm old lol) *CHEERS*

I just posted an Elsa x Zuko fanfiction!! I should be editing The Valley of Lies, but this concept was too much fun. UGH, I love it!! Please let me know what you think. Elsa and Zuko are basically made for each other, right?!

The Valley of Lies is in round 3 finals of The  Amby's! So exciting! I wasn't able to submit to the Watty's because I foolishly submitted it under Ongoing when there were only 10 chapters up (last year), and this year they didn't allow resubmissions if marked complete. Which is unfair, if you ask me... But anyway! Thanks to everyone who ever read and voted on this story, I have a feeling your public support has helped get eyes on the pages recently. Much love and magic to you!! 

I did it! I finished the final chapter of VOL (the longest, most complicated manuscript I've ever written)! Now all that's left is a bunch of editing and a few chapters of epilogue, but I'll start working on that tomorrow. Look for an update in a few days!! *Cheers and Happy Mother's Day*

The Final Chapter & Epilogue of The Valley of Lies (Lightkeepers #1) will be arriving soon, released together. I'm taking my time with them, so an update this weekend is unlikely. Endings are hard, but I can't wait to share this one with you!!! *CHEERS*

Chapter 55 will release at 5PM EDT, and it might be my favorite thing I've written in a LONG time. I'm so excited for you guys to read it, and if it makes you go *AwWwW* then I have accomplished my goal! Happy dragons!! ;)
