My dearest Magi. Friend. Canonical daughter. All around fantabulous person. I am especially looking forward to writing this one, because you so much deserve it and I know you don't hear it enough for how wonderful you are, at least not that I can see.
You are so so so so great.
First of all, I have NEVER, NOT EVEN ONCE had an unpleasant interaction with you. Never. Bad interactions are normal, with tempers and bad days influencing people in unpleasant ways, but not with you. Every time I see a notification with your name on it, my spirit lifts knowing I'm in for a treat. Talking with you is a privilege that the people around you get to have, and believe me, we know how lucky we are.
In all my years, I've never met another person quite as selfless as you. You show it in your books, your comments, every interaction. I just went and read your books (something I've neglected for far too long,) and it's the same there as it is every other interaction you have. You're constantly asking if everyone else is okay, asking how they're doing, giving people space to be open, and hyping them up or sympathizing with them. You are such an amazing person, but instead of going and getting a big head about it, instead of basking in the fact you're amazing, you continue to brush past yourself to get to others. Do you know how often most people think about others (myself as the worst perpetrator of this)? So few. People tend to dote on themselves as if they were the only person in the world and expect everyone to do the same. Not you, though. You're one in a million, Magi. You're amazing.
I hope you follow your dreams and reach your goals. I hope you get everything you wish for. I hope that you know that all the kindness you share brightens other people's lives. I hope you know that I will be here to give you the same solace and listening ear you give everyone else.
